Request a password reset

Forgotten password

Have you forgotten your password, lost your OTP token or are you otherwise no longer able to log in? You can request a password reset here.

Before resetting the password, please check the following error sources:

  • When you log in to any of the mailbox.org services, you need to state the main email address of your account as user name, e.g. "user@mailbox.org". Just entering the part before the "@" (e.g. "user" ) is not sufficient.
  • If you have recently changed your alias and main address, you must ensure that you log in with the new main address (= the previous alias) from now on.
  • If you have difficulties with the OTP login, please first read how it works in our knowledge base. With mailbox.org, the first factor is not the user password, but the PIN code entered when setting up the OTP login!
